The Discovery Call is our first step in bringing your vision to life. During this chat, we’ll discuss your wedding theme, favorite florals, and any personal touches you’d like to incorporate. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask questions and share your ideas. Following the call, I’ll provide a detailed proposal, timeline, and next steps to get started on your custom project.
Once we’ve finalized your vision, I’ll create 1-2 hand-drawn concept sketches for your review. These sketches allow us to refine the layout, lettering, and overall design before moving to the painting phase. You’ll have the chance to provide feedback to ensure everything aligns perfectly with your style.
After the concept sketches are approved, I’ll begin painting your custom designs in vivid watercolor. This stage brings your vision to life, capturing all the intricate details. You’ll receive digital proofs to review and make any final adjustments before the invitations go to print.
Yes! Minor changes can be made during the proofing stage to ensure your invitations are exactly how you envisioned them. However, significant design changes after this stage may incur additional fees, as they could require reworking parts of the artwork.
I’m happy to take on commission work for custom art pieces, including portraits, landscapes, and more. The process is similar, but it often involves a longer timeline depending on the complexity and size of the project. We’ll start with a consultation to discuss your vision and create a plan tailored to your needs.
For wedding stationery, the process typically takes 6-8 weeks from the Discovery Call to the final printed product. For larger commissions or more intricate projects, timelines may extend to 8-12 weeks or longer. I’ll provide a detailed timeline during our initial call to ensure everything stays on track.
I offer a variety of high-quality printing options, including letterpress, digital, and foil stamping. We’ll discuss the best option for your design during the Discovery Call, ensuring the final product matches your vision and budget.
Once you’ve received your tailored proposal and are ready to move forward, a signed contract and a 50% deposit will secure your spot. From there, we’ll dive into the exciting process of creating your custom artwork!
